The 'Bests of' Chemistry
We plan to show activities and experiments that go along with chemistry, focusing mainly on the periodic table, chemical / physical properties, and chemical/physical changes. We have hands-on activities to start the unit. We also would like to share apps that we have found that students can use in the classroom.

Embedding Literacy Standards for Science and Technical Subjects into our Utah State Science Core
Teachers will understand the rationale for embedding literacy into science, as well as learn several methods to help scaffold difficult text, explicitly teach vocabulary, and develop meaningful writing prompts.
