Welcome to the 2014 USTA Conference!!!

Utah Valley Convention Center - Provo, UT

We have worked hard to make sure that there is something for every science teacher at every hour of the conference.  Please make sure that after a breakout session you take the time to fill out a survey.  Every survey you fill out is an entry into our raffle for some great prizes to use in the classroom and on your free time.

Budget-Friendly Physics Labs
We are going to look at a handful of inquiry-based labs that can be run on a small budget. These labs will get students out of their seats having fun, and asking in depth questions about the physics principles you study in your classes. Think zip lines, marble-coasters, and a bit of video analysis.

Creating and Analyzing Motion Graphs with Board Games
Using a simple board game, create motion graphs. This lesson can be adapted for creating simple motion graphs, for middle school science, to more advanced graphs for conceptual to AP Physics.
